Overall, AUD/USD is trending downwards. Recently, AUD/USD has been moving around the support level of 0.67900.
Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) Governor Philip Lowe will be delivering a speech later at 1705 (SGT). During this time, volatility is expected of the Australian dollar.
The Australian construction work done q/q data (Forecast: -1.0%, Previous: -3.8%) will be released tomorrow at 0830 (SGT). If the released data is better than or as forecasted, the Australian dollar may strengthen.
Currently, AUD/USD is testing the support level of 0.67900 and the next resistance level is at 0.69100.
If Governor Lowe’s speech is bearish, wait for AUD/USD to break the support level before looking for selling opportunities.
